Terms of use for this website.

These terms apply when you use this site. They cover how the health information here should be used, how online bookings work, what we own, and the limits of our responsibility. Our Privacy Policy forms part of them.

Version 1.0 · Effective 23 September 2026 · Next review September 2027

This website is operated by Ballarat Doctors, T5, 21-53 Learmonth Road, Wendouree VIC 3355.

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. We may update the terms from time to time, and the version published here is the one that applies.

The articles, service pages and other health information on this site are general education. They are not advice about your individual situation, and they do not replace a consultation, examination, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified health professional.

Health information also dates. Guidelines, Medicare arrangements and immunisation schedules change, and what is accurate on the day we publish may not be later. Always check with your GP what applies to you.

Online bookings are handled through HotDoc under its own terms and privacy policy. Submitting a request does not create an appointment until it is confirmed.

Please choose an appointment type that matches what you need. If you have several things to raise, or are unsure what to book, ring reception on (03) 8391 7025 and they will set aside the right amount of time.

Availability, opening hours and the services we offer can change. We publish current information here, but the position when you speak to reception is the one that applies.

Email and web forms are not secure, and we cannot guarantee a message will be received or read promptly. Please do not use them for clinical details, test results, or anything time-critical.

If you need to tell us something about your care, ring reception. If it cannot wait, use the emergency contacts on this page.

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to interfere with its operation or security or attempt unauthorised access; not to use automated tools to scrape, harvest or republish its content; not to submit false information through a form or booking request; and not to use the site in a way that infringes the rights of others or breaches any law.

We may restrict or withdraw access where we reasonably consider it necessary.

We take reasonable care to keep this site current and accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or up to date at all times.

Nor do we warrant uninterrupted availability. Access may be unavailable during maintenance or because of matters outside our control.

The content, branding, photography and design of this site are owned by Ballarat Doctors or used with permission unless otherwise stated. Third-party marks, including the Medicare and MyMedicare marks, remain the property of their owners and are used for identification only.

You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, adapt or distribute any part of it for another purpose without our written permission.

We welcome feedback about the practice — give it to reception, by phone, or in writing to info@ballaratdoctors.com.au. It is used to improve how we work.

We do not publish patient testimonials or reviews about clinical care on this website, and we do not ask patients for them. Section 133 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as it applies in Victoria, prohibits testimonials in advertising a regulated health service.

To raise a concern outside the practice, the Health Complaints Commissioner (Victoria) can be contacted on 1300 582 113, or AHPRA on 1300 419 495 for concerns about a practitioner.

To the extent permitted by law, Ballarat Doctors is not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect or consequential — arising from your use of, or reliance on, information on this website, or from the site being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and Ballarat Doctors submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Nothing matches that. Try a different word, or ring reception on (03) 8391 7025.
